Saturday afternoon photos:

Looking east down what was once tree-lined Hotz Avenue.
I was told it looked much worse the day before.

Damaged vehicles flecked with tornado sprayed mud.

The folks that lived on in the house on the left had lived here 43 years.

Force of the twister was so strong that not only did it pull up the tree here,
but that the tree root cracked the sidewalk.

Some roofs were damaged while others were relatively untouched.

Looking south. The tree in the back yard went right down on to the addition of this house.

Looking west. Here we go again? Dark rain clouds loomed on the horizon.
Fortunately, it only rained during the night. Still, it made
some people nervous.

Looking south from the alley between Hotz and Rochester.
A friend of mine and his late wife used to live here at 1158 Hotz.
We picked apples from their trees and I worked on my car in their garage.
Both are gone.

The garage blown off its slab piled to the east next door.

Walking west down the alley between Hotz and Rochester. Garages and trees flattened.
Bumped into Guy Snodgrass here. He told me there were two pickup trucks in this garage.
One was badly damaged.
When they raised the roof high enough, they were able to drive the other truck away.
It didn't have a scratch on it.

Friend of Guy's showed me this. This beer can had been blown so hard into the fence that
both fence and can bulked around each other.
